Mental Health Checklist

Your mental health checklist during times of uncertainty. When you are feeling alone, isolated, stressed, anxious and exhausted you might need a little more support to navigate everyday life.

Have you ever felt a way? Have you ever felt like everything is going wrong? Have you been feeling a lot more anxious, irritable and sad than usual? Are YOU taking care of your mental health?

We have normalized taking care of our physical health and making that a priority in our society but we haven't yet normalized prioritizing our mental health. Let's break the stigma and talk about it!
Mental Health Checklist:
  1. Do your research! Do you understand what mental health actually is?

  2. Stay connected! Are you spending time with friends, family or colleagues?

  3. Are you exercising and moving your body daily? You can do things like walking, aerobics, strength training, yoga, biking, etc.

  4. Are you eating healthy? Think fruits, vegetables, water daily! Please think about limiting caffeine and alcohol consumption.

  5. Are you sleeping well? Do you make rest a priority? Do you have a bedtime routine? Do you have a morning routine?

  6. Are you practicing mindfulness and self-care? What are you consuming? Where are you spending time and energy? Are you spending too much time with electronics or other addictions?

  7. Are you doing things that feed your soul and bring you joy?

  8. Are you talking to a mental health professional about your concerns?

With gratitude,
